I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed this spy thriller. It’s a solid entry into the genre, blending action, suspense, and an engaging storyline that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Keira Knightley delivers a strong performance as Helen, bringing depth and nuance to her character, but it’s Ben Whishaw who truly steals the show. His portrayal of a complex character with an intriguing backstory adds a captivating layer to the series, making him the standout of the season.

The cinematography and score are excellent, contributing to the show’s overall atmosphere and setting the perfect tone for the tension-filled narrative. The visuals are sleek and stylish, while the score pulses with energy, amplifying the sense of suspense and drama that runs throughout the show.

However, while the season excels in many areas, there are some notable drawbacks. The pacing could have been tighter; the series would have benefited from fewer episodes to maintain momentum and avoid unnecessary filler. The ending, while satisfying in some aspects, felt a bit anticlimactic and could have packed a stronger punch.

Despite these flaws, the series is still a fun and engaging spy thriller. It’s got all the right ingredients for a thrilling watch, and the standout performances make it easy to invest in the characters. I'm looking forward to Season 2, as the foundation is solid, and there's potential for the series to improve and truly hit its stride in future installments.
