Let’s f***ing go! Deadpool & Wolverine is an absolute blast from start to finish, delivering exactly what fans have been craving—raunchy humor, bloody action, and loads of fan service packed into one gloriously unhinged ride. This is easily the funniest and most self-aware entry in the MCU to date, fully embracing the chaotic energy that makes Deadpool so beloved while also giving fans the long-awaited return of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in full berserker mode.
Ryan Reynolds is at the top of his game here, giving what might be his best performance yet as Wade Wilson. His comedic timing, emotional beats, and meta-commentary all hit harder than ever, and his love for the character shines through every frame. Hugh Jackman, meanwhile, effortlessly slips back into his iconic role. Whether he's slicing through enemies or throwing barbed insults at Deadpool, Jackman proves once again why Wolverine is one of the most enduring and badass characters in superhero cinema. The chemistry between the two is electric—equal parts hilarious and heartfelt—and their dynamic gives the movie a much-needed emotional core amid all the madness.
What really sets Deadpool & Wolverine apart is how much fun it has with the multiverse and the MCU itself. There are cameos galore—some expected, others shockingly bold—that had the theater erupting. The movie doesn’t hold back in its references and Easter eggs, which die-hard Marvel fans will eat up. The action is thrilling, violent in the best way, and creatively choreographed, especially in the climactic third act, which is a full-on spectacle accompanied by a glorious soundtrack that makes the final showdown feel triumphant and epic.
However, the film isn’t without its flaws. The villain's motivations are underwhelming and never feel like a real threat to our leads, which weakens some of the stakes. Additionally, while the TVA plays a key role in the setup, its presence feels inconsistent and underutilized, almost like an afterthought in an otherwise tightly packed multiverse story. The writing, while often clever, does stumble at times with pacing and exposition.
Despite these hiccups, Deadpool & Wolverine succeeds in what it sets out to do: deliver a ridiculously entertaining, R-rated superhero film that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s the perfect blend of action, comedy, emotion, and fan service—and if you walk in with those expectations, you’re in for a hell of a fun time.
