Eyes of Wakanda features a sleek animation style paired with fierce, well-choreographed action that makes for a visually engaging experience. Across its four episodes, the pacing remains consistent, and the artistic direction stands out as the show’s greatest strength. The stylized visuals and smooth fight sequences elevate the series, giving it a distinct look that sets it apart from other Marvel animated projects.

That said, the series has its share of shortcomings. The voice acting and accents for some characters are noticeably rough, which can be distracting at times. Additionally, not enough time is spent in Wakanda itself. For a show with Wakanda in the title, much of the story takes place outside its borders, and the events beyond the nation aren't nearly as compelling. There’s a clear missed opportunity to dive deeper into Wakandan lore and the legacy of the Black Panther, both of which would have added more depth and emotional resonance.

Despite these flaws, Eyes of Wakanda is still a decent watch. The storylines are easy to follow, and fans of the Marvel universe will enjoy spotting a few fun Easter eggs scattered throughout. However, while it may entertain in the moment, the series ultimately lacks the emotional weight and intrigue needed to leave a lasting impression. It’s enjoyable enough, but not something you’ll be rushing to revisit.
