This is easily the best season of Invincible since its debut. The scale feels bigger, the stakes feel heavier, and the battles come across as truly generational—especially with Thragg and the Viltrumites delivering some of the most intense, memorable fights the series has seen.
Thragg’s introduction may not feel as immediately terrifying as expected, but that quickly changes. As the season progresses, he becomes increasingly imposing, evolving into a genuinely chilling presence.
On the character side, there’s satisfying emotional payoff. We finally get a sense of closure with Nolan Grayson and Debbie Grayson, while Mark Grayson and Samantha Eve Wilkins continue to grow in meaningful ways that add weight to the larger story.
As expected with Invincible, the episodes leading into the finale carry the most intensity, building toward a climax that fully delivers. The finale itself reinforces just how terrifying the Viltrumites truly are, with Thragg’s grand plan reveal landing as both shocking and deeply unsettling the more you sit with it.
Overall, it’s a standout season packed with high-impact moments—and it sets the bar even higher going into Season 5.
